Back to My Regularly Scheduled Lifestyle

Notsosnowwhite has gone home today. Now it is up to me to bring some sort of order to the chaos that I let reign whenever I have company. I just can't seem to get anything done when I have someone here. So, I let it all go.

Today though, I cleaned, scrubbed, and washed my notsolittle butt off and I am proud to say that just a little more and my house will be back into ship shape.

Now I just have to figure out a way to get me ship shape. What plans do you use to keep yourself healthy? Are you on a diet? What kind? What are your tips?

Oh TC, when am I not on a diet. Okay I started with Weight Watchers again. Can't afford it so I will do the points program myself with my books. I have done this before and it has worked; just I haven't actually tried to lose weight IN EARNEST for about 5 years. Since my son was born. So I am determined that this year will be the year.

So far so good, eating healthy and have done elliptical and gone for a walk the past 2 days. Of course, we're only 2 days into the new year.

Good luck to you and remember I'm here for you. You'd think cleaning the house would get us ladies into shape, wouldn't you? I just cleaned my house today...not feeling any lighter in the booty region though.

Ciao!

Hope you enjoyed your visit with your friend. It's nice to get back to business as usual, huh?

Nope, no diet. I just don't eat sweets. Hah, what a crock...the holidays did me in. I've got an inside bike that I never use and I sit on the computer every day so you can imagine how that is growing by leaps and bounds. Oh, after you finish your house, can you please come clean mine? I absolutely haven't had the time! Honest.

If you get any good advice please pass it on. I've got 45 to loose.

TC- I lost about 30 lbs with Weight Watchers 15 yrs ago & kept it off until Sweetie Pie was born without a problem. Haven't had the self-discipline to get it off again yet, but am back on Weight Watchers. I think it's the most sensible plan out there--it's well-balanced. You can do it online, too, since it might be hard to make meetings out there. I do it online, cause I hate meetings.

I think I kept it off so long 'cause I walked (hiked) quite a distance every day. Got to move!

Good luck, TC. I'm working on it right along with you.

I have used the Dr Phil weight loss program before and lost 40 pounds. This year I plan on working out 3 days a week with my Tae-Bo tape (helped me gain a lot of muscle last year) and I want to walk a few days a week as well. I want to cut down my portions and eat a few more fresh fruits and veggies.

Good luck with your diet!

I am doing Weight Watchers and it does work - if I am good about counting my points... due to some financial changes in my life (I quit my job) I had to stop going to meetings, but I continue to follow the program and weigh myself at home.
