update

It went surprisingly well homeschooling with a toddler around. She enjoyed circle time a lot. She ran around excited by being in the classroom. She had her own crayon and notebook which she enjoyed. She looked at books and played with the broken computer and an unplugged phone. It was less disruptive than I thought and it made it so that homeschooling was a relaxed fun atmosphere . . . even for math.

Hs'ing a toddler is a lot more fun the hs'ing a mobile baby! My 2 (almost 3) year kid does much the same. I am glad the day worked out well for you!

It was interesting homeschooling the boys when Alicia was that age, as she would have the house to herself while we schooled. *lol* (One floor) She would sure make a mess of the boys' room in a very short period of time! Luckily, Josh was only doing pre-school work at the time and was only doing school for 30 minutes, and then he could go entertain her. :)
