Fuzzwippers Make Great Travelers Book Review

Recently, I was excited to have the opportunity to review a children's book titled, Fuzzwippers Make Great Travelers, written by Marilynn Halas and illustrated by Jeremy Provost.

Fuzzwippers are friendly creatures that reach out to anyone who needs to be assured that they are wanted and needed.

This cute children's book is about a little girl who is traveling to Hawaii with her Fuzzwipper friend. They enjoy new experiences and new foods in Hawaii that they are both a little nervous to try, but don't get discouraged when they don't excel at things when they first try.  This book helps children to experience the new sports and foods available while visiting new places. This book is a great way to teach great traveler tips for your kids.  These tips can be found at the back of the book with other great tips for your kids.  There is also a great parents' pointer in there as well that parents can utilize before traveling.

I LOVE the large pictures that depict what the author is saying.  They are colorful and they really captured the attention of my girls!  The easy to understand language is great for Princess Magpie and I like how it explains what bigger or new vocabulary words mean.

We read this book as soon as we got it in the mail and we loved it!.  It is such a very cute story that encourages kids to try new things they while traveling and given our recent move, it felt like a perfect fit for us.

Fuzzwippers Make Great Travelers is the fifth in a collection of ten storybooks that help children cultivate the social-emotional skills they will need to live happy and balanced lives. Through engaging storytelling, children are guided and supported by a friendly and magical Fuzzwipper creature, which always assures them that “they are loved, no matter what.”
