In the hospital hiding
Loving the toys the nurses brought him
Medicated and falling asleep.
Eating lunch trying not to worry about my boy
Out of surgery sleeping off the meds.
Awake but feeling groggy
Feeling better
Watching the lights waiting to leave the hospital.
